he Aces kicked off the 2022 Pride season by releasing a queer heartbreak anthem for the ages. The band debuted “Girls Make Me Wanna Die” at WeHo Pride’s OUTLOUD Festival just days before it’s June 4th release. The track came out to immediate acclaim, being hailed as a sparkling, indie-pop jam (Billboard Pride) and an “official Pride anthem” (Teen Vogue) and saw support from a myriad of press including NPR, Nylon, Seventeen, AutoStraddle, Consequence, Line Of Best Fit, and more.

The band tapped Dirty Hit artist and The 1975 collaborator No Rome to curate a special remix of the track, releasing today via Red Bull Records. The synth-y reimagination of “Girls Make Me Wanna Die” gives the song a whole new feel. The Aces shared, “No Rome turned ‘Girls Make Me Wanna Die’ into a hyper pop smash that we’re obsessed with. We’re already big fans of his music but this remix is better than anything we could’ve expected.”
