Red Bull Records: Part Time Paid Internship
Red Bull Records is an independent music label and a division of the multi-national energy drink company. The label was established in 2007 and has a growing roster of musical artists. Our current roster consists of Beartooth, Albert Hammond Jr., Flawes, The Aces, August 08, Warm Brew, Noah Carter, and Gavin Haley.

Red Bull Records is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and team oriented intern to work in our West Hollywood office. An internship with Red Bull Records is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in the music industry, network with the various departments and to learn about the inner workings of a music company and its roster of artists.

Interns will work directly with department staff and assist in the daily operations of the entire label. This is a paid, part time internship that requires a commitment of 6 months to the program. Label departments consist of A&R, Marketing, Digital, PR and International.

Requirements:

-Resourceful self-starter with a professional, positive and proactive attitude.
-Ability to problem-solve and multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
-Applicants must be enrolled in a university or a recent college grad.
-Must live in the Los Angeles area.
-Must have a strong desire/interest to work within a music label.
-Must provide your own transportation.
-Past music industry experience is a plus.

-Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
-Strong phone & email communication skills.

-Must be able to cover front desk with upbeat & personable demeanor.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, outlook, excel, power point).
-Available to work 2-3 days a week for up to 6 months.

Job Description:

-Assist staff in various day to day duties.
-Market research.
-Manage the inventory and organization of merchandise and promotional material.
-Brainstorming creative promotional ideas for the label and artists.
-Coordinate daily shipments and monthly radio promo mailings.
-Assist with reception duties.
-Attend various weekly company meetings as needed.

 

Salary: Minimum wage / 2-3 days per week / 8 hours per day / up to 6-month duration / potential for college credit

 

Start date: Mid to Late October
