Peter $un aka Sunny is a self-proclaimed “Scumbaby”; a positive take on embracing one’s imperfections in the pursuit of truth and happiness. Originally from Richmond, VA, now based in Los Angeles, Sunny embodies the underdog mentality through boundless self-expression in music and art. His inspiration spans from the gritty regional styles of Pusha T & Clipse to melodic, soul-driven artists like D’Angelo, Pharrell, and The Neptunes. Over the years, Sunny’s music and influence have been supported by Ebro, Travis Mills, and Zane Lowe of Apple Music, along with co-signs from Russ, Guapdad 4000, and Childish Major. Now in partnership with Red Bull Records, Sunny will embark on his next project with long-time collaborator Blue Rondo (Young Thug, IDK) as they define the next chapter in Sunny’s ever-evolving story.
